Hi

This is a new solo piano piece i wrote a few days ago with some editing from the previous version. it's been said the track fits in the New Age genre ? This is interesting as many other users from other music forums have confirmed the piece belonging to the soundtrack genre.

Comments.

Hi again.

Genre I used to describe your piece was "New Age".
New Age applies to various downtempo music creating inspiration, relaxation and peaceful atmosphere. Harmony is generally consonant and modal. Instruments used are acoustic, such as piano and guitar, electronic forms and many other non-western acoustic instruments.

What I know about soundtrack is music for TV, Musicals, Cinema and etc.

Genre can overlap. Particularly, if you intended your music for TV or movie, and composed it that way, and use it that way, it is soundtrack.

Cheers.
