Scorpio,

Well done on Wild Irish Rose. You played it with a lot of musicality, which is sometimes hard to do with a pretty thin arrangement.

I did not find the left hand overpowering at all. Good job. thumb

Nicely done, Scorpio! It sounds good, and I think you have it mastered.

I have finally called Sonata Pathetique completed. For the longest time, it was Bruce's pathetic sonata, but I think I can call it done. Now I'm working on Old Joe Clark in the Adult Basic Country book. I first hear that song when Wayne Newton sang it on an episode of Bonanza back in the 1960's, and I like the way it sounds.

One of these days I'll find a way to put up some of my music.

JimF and newest student (Bruce), Thank you so much for the comments. It's reassuring. I really appreciate the feedback.

And Bruce, it really is not a big deal to upload your playing. I would love to hear the Sonata.

The "10 for 10""Easy piano" Series is worth a look, if there's a genre which suits you, published by Alfred's and mostly arranged by Dan Coates, a good combination.

I hope this box.com thing works, I've been having trouble with it in Chrome.
