Both are nicely done, and thanks for sharing.

Do you know anything about how the sound was engineered for these recordings? I didn't catch it at first when listening to your Ravel recital performance, but when you posted your alternate Ravel, and then listening to this, it seems the recital recordings are heavily compressed, which really kills the dynamics. I have a feeling there is a lot coming from you and the piano that we are not able to hear on these recital recordings! frown

Do you have alternate recordings of the Kapustin, too, that you care to share? Pretty please with sugar and a cherry on top? smile

I used a Zoom Q2HD. The trouble is, the best placement for the camera is not the same as the best placement for the microphone. They don't pick up the sound very well at this angle/distance. I've also done some noise reduction.
