I'm getting tired of CDs. I would like to use a laptop, smartphone, or reader to play MIDI files on a Pianomation 2000C (same as cd2000+). I bought a USB to MIDI cable, but I'm thinking that I need some kind of software - that's where I'm stuck! What's the method? Is there a player that I can organize MIDI songs in? I can't find any answers on the net, so any suggestions would be helpful (besides a system upgrade). I would also like to know where I can find free or cheap GOOD piano solos for my new imaginary library. Thanks a lot!!! Jim

What about burning the MIDI files to a blank CD-R?

Anyway, to output MIDI, you will need a MIDI player, such as MIDIpipe or whatever. You open up the MIDI file, select something along the lines of "USB OUT", and enjoy it on your piano.
