Can anyone recommend such a book? I have Dennis Agay's ARt of Piano Teaching, will I refer to all the time. He has a chapter on ornamentation, but of course, there are often exceptions to the general rules. If there are any other books out there you use, I'd appreciate the recommendations. Thanks.

He's also published an 280 page book on the ornaments of Mozart. Enjoy!

Guess I will have to put my list of fiction to read on hold and start on these for the summer!

"The Interpretation of Music", Thurston Dart.

CPE Bach has some very interesting and enlightening stuff about ornaments in his book, "On the True Art of Playing the Clavier".

Thank you Laguna Greg, I am hoping to find one book to cover all ornamentation throughout the history of music. I will get this one!
