This is my 9,996th post on Piano World. 99.9% of which have been on the Piano Forum. In a few posts I will become the 11th person to have 10,000 posts. Seeing this as a milestone I have been reflecting on my life in the industry. Fortunately, I won't go into detail on that here!!!
However, in summary, I've had, and continue to have a great life and career. I started in my father's shop at age 7 and still am active at the store, as an industry consultant and as a Contributing Editor and consultant to Piano Buyer. The piano industry is a fascinating industry, particularly from the inside. Regularly conversing with the owners or upper management of virtually every major manufacturer as well as many, many piano retailers, technicians and other industry pros has enriched my life...as has my many encounters here at the Piano Forum.
Thank you all!
