I can't offer you any technical/musical pointers, but take a compliment: I am obsessed with Rachmaninoff and have heard it all hundreds of times, and I think your interpretation sounds pretty good.

I'm always happy to see Rach recordings on here. Was this your first etude of his? What other music are you working on?
Beethoven - Op.49 No.1 (sonata 19)
Czerny - Op.299 Nos. 5,7 (School of Velocity)
Liszt - S.172 No.2 (Consolation No.2)

Dream piece:
Rachmaninoff - Sonata 2, movement 2 in E minor

thanks for the comment - I also played the last of op 33, and the op 39 nr 5, and am currently looking at the last of op 39, which is significantly easier than this piece. Apart from that, currently revising Gaspard, learning a few new Beethoven sonatas (54, 90, revising 78), some new music by Tönu Körvits, chopin mazurkas and etudes...and looking into some lovely baroque stuff - Rameau, Couperin, Scarlatti etc.
