What kind of music do you usually listen to? Jazz? Pop? Rock? Electronica? Let us know and we can suggest songs for you.

Some suggestions:
Scarborough Fair
Simple Gifts
Any of your favorite Christmas or folk songs

Public domain site:
http://imslp.org/

Some people upload their arrangements to:
http://musescore.com/sheetmusic
Because these are often picked out by ear, a few may have errors.

A person can download and print PDFs from either site.

Three months (or any other length of time) can mean a wide variety of things on the forum, so doesn't tell us much. The teacher can simplify the arrangement if it seems too difficult, or add difficulty if too simple.

i like rock, electronic (alot), i like slower things with lots of emotion, pop hits are fun, i enjoy classical as well, i also enjoy bangers(really fast and explosive music) but im sure thats a bit to tough for me at this level.... im just not super good at delivering emotion thru the music yet, so i'd like to work on it. the reason i say recognizable is because knowing the music helps me a TON with interpreting the music and getting it solid.

sand tiger, whats a better way to put explain my level other than time invested? i can see how thats pretty vague as it would vary greatly on the individual. im about a third of way thru bastien piano for adults workbook if that helps?

appreciate the links, i'm definitely going to go thru and have a look right now!

This is an easy one! Come on people, it's gotta be a fun piece!
In the back of Alfred's One is: The Theme song from Gilligan's Island.

Well...if not necessarily a fun piece?
I'm sure you can come up with ideas. I think it's been mentioned they have many easy versions of songs in sheet music.

Adding the information about how far you have gotten in the book, and which book, gives a lot more. Thank you.

The teacher can likely scale up or scale down anything you print out to fit your skill level. Good luck and report back with what you have chosen.

One problem with modern music is much of it is under copyright so distribution and printing it out, is not always by the book. Buying sheet music is a good thing, but can get to be expensive if a person buys everything they are interested in.

Making Music Fun has a bunch of free sheets arranged in order difficulty.
http://makingmusicfun.net/htm/printit_piano_sheet_music_index.htm

Their Itsy-Bitsy Spider arrangement is a lot of fun, but perhaps not a good fit with your preference for rock, electronic, etc.
