I woke up with this Bach/Baroque-esque riff in my head this morning, and I decided to try it out and record it. I was playing around with the Toccata & Fugue in Dm yesterday, and so I'm not sure if this is just part of a Bach piece or just something else. It does remind me of something from the Well Tempered Clavier. This was my first time doing it, so I messed up a little. https://soundcloud.com/johnnevin/organ-thingy

Do you guys think I should go forward and compose something around this riff, or just let it be?

I'm inclined to suggest you take your cue from the Beatles.
