This post on my Facebook page meant so much to me. It is truly what I always hoped Piano World and the Forums would be about.

Sure we need advertising to support the site, it's how we survive, and we try to keep the forums interesting and maybe a tad controversial. But in the end my fondest hope is that we attract and interest budding pianist to continue their pursuit of music and performance.

From one of our long time members....

"Clara Zhang: Dear Frank Baxter, thank you so much for doing a wonderful work on piano world, I have been reading the articles on Piano Forums for years since I was just a young piano student. Now I encourage many of my students and their parents to read it. It is really a great resources for pianist at any level. Thank you so much! Clara Zhang, Rational Music Studios, NYC".

And in a nutshell my friends, that is why I started Piano World. And it is what sets us apart from other sites that claim to be for pianist when they are really just about making money for their owners.

Hi Frank,

I've been a member of Piano World since I started music lessons a little more than ten years ago. PW is the reason I'm still at it, thanks to all the advice and encouragement I've gotten from my Piano World Friends.

I check in every day and sometimes "chime in". Even though being a professional musician isn't a goal of mine (I'd love it if I could), still I enjoy the journey of learning.

In my book Frank, you have succeeded.

I like to think of it as a place to share and learn. I have tried other sites that have not been as engaging.

Good luck to you and wonderful to hear your site inspires pianists to stick with it. I couldn't stay away from the piano. Learning and playing is far too captivating.
