Just quick question for any current owners as it is not available in UK yet. When you use the USB stick wave playback facility it is easy to:

a) name your wave files with actual song names (rather than AA1 or similar)?
b) Adjust the relative volume of the wave playback versus the actual instrument's own piano sound playback?
c) When calling up wave files does it entail lots of clicking through menus?

I'd be very grateful for advice as it does not seem clear in the user guide I read through

a) name your wave files with actual song names (rather than AA1 or similar)?

They must be named as TAKE00, TAKE01, TAKE02, etc.
They also must be in WAV file format, 44.1 kHz, 16 Bit.
I make my backing tracks in a DAW and save them in the proper format. I use a "cheat sheet" table to keep track of what the song numbers are.

b) Adjust the relative volume of the wave playback versus the actual instrument's own piano sound playback?
Yes, this is done in the Sound Generator menu, under AUDIO VOLUME

c) When calling up wave files does it entail lots of clicking through menus?

Once you "mount" the USB drive, you just need to press AUDIO RECORDER and the +/- keys to select your song. Takes a couple of seconds.

You can also play back midi files in the same manner... they can be regular "friendly" names - I find using the .wav option much better though.

Thanks for the information. Pity you cannot give song names for the wave files. Maybe they will add this feature in a future software update
