How's my fingering (red) for this arpeggio? I think the original one is really strange.

From Grainger transcription of Tchaikovsky 1.



Hmm, my regular two piano version of Tchaikovsky 1 has different fingerings. They're closer to mine.



Can't decide if LH 4 should hit the Ab (like mine) or the F. I think the Ab is smoother. So both hands are doing 1234 with 4 hitting the black key.

Lots of strange things in this Grainger transcription...

Tchaikovsky's awkward as helll arpeggios... your fingering is alright, though the original (with the 5th fingers and all) might be a bit more fluid at fast tempos, when evenness isn't as much as an issue and volume and that crescendo become more important. See if you can generate much volume with your index finger on your left hand at the top note, the original gives you the thumb which might be helpful.
