Good afternoon. The following link was posted by another member on the Adult Beginnners forum. This newsletter of the British Harpsichord Society is highly interesting. I'd like to point out particularly the article "Learning the Harpsichord in France", beginning on page 34. It describes the structure of music education through what are called the first cycle and second cycle, followed by (not surprisingly) the third cycle where youngsters can choose to orient their musical studies towards a professional objective.
