Never before have submissions opened when so many people are awake! Can the massive Piano World server farm handle the load?

Hi all, I haven't been around since November (when I didn't even get my comments done on that recital). It's been an unbelievable last 6 months for me. My mother-in-law passed away, and a couple weeks after her service my mom became very ill and passed away on July 22.

I do have my recital entry ready to submit. It's a tune I was working on before all the above happened. I really needed to take part this time. So, I'm off to submit, and looking forward to listening to all the wonderful music!

So sorry for your loss, CMohr. frown You have truly had a rough time. I'm glad you were able to keep up with piano; I hope it has been a source of comfort for you while going through all this.

CMohr - my condolences. I, too, had 2 close friends die, in February of this year. One was 47 - the mandolin player in our band. The other was 93, but I'd known her for 25 years. July 22 is still fresh for you. I know how hard it is. It's been 2 years since my mother died, and every once in awhile I still think "oh, I'll tell her that." I'm looking forward to your submission - you've always been one of my piano inspirations!

Cathy

CMohr,
So sorry to hear the passing of your Mom and mother-in-law. I suspected you were going through difficult times.

Looking forward to your submission.

Monica, Cathy, & MaryBee, thanks so much for the kind words. It's been very difficult the last few months - I was happy to have a tune ready - I needed the camaraderie of you all!

So, I'm in at #33 - yea! I just realized that it's been a whole year since my last submission! Yikes!

CMohr- I send you my heartfelt condolences. You and your family have been through a very rough time this past year, and especially the past few months.
I was glad to read that the music was helping you.
