What is the proper way of applying it to the jacks/knuckles?

Wearing tight latex gloves, I just use my index finger to rub it in. A little goes a long way. I used to use an artist brush but found it too hard to control. It sent the powder airborne, which isn't good. I saw a technician apply it very quickly and evenly using a chalkboard eraser that had been saturated with it. He just ran it down the knuckles once and was finished in three seconds. I liked the idea but haven't tried it.

Anyone using the NewOctave action lubricant ? It's apparently working well on knuckles.

I have it in a small bottle with a front punching in, that I take with pliers to rub the knuckles.

Here is a blog posting that I did about the technique Jerry used. At the bottom of this blog posting there is a link to a photo set of the mixture.

Right click on the photo link and then “open in new tab” so you can toggle back and forth between the blog article and the photo set. That is the best way to view both at the same time.

Here is the link for the blog posting;

Teflon Paste

John Parham put this into the November 2012 PTG Journal under tech tips on page 9.
