Imagine trying to get some serious practicing in with THIS going on under your feet! At least here she was lying down; two seconds before both critters were lapping the house, running around me and under the piano at top speed - squeaking that toy!

If only puppy Rani was considerate enough to squeak on the beat!

Haha, I loved it. It brought back memories. My girl Dobie used to lay on my feet, which makes pedaling awkward, and my boy would lay his head in my lap. They had a way of letting me know when I had practiced long enough!

Too funny. Exasperating perhaps, but very funny.

Good one Jeanie...
How did you get a toy that would last?
I got my sweetie a few ... lets say....nasally honking sound toys... She would destroy them in a few days. Which was partially good. The sound always made my father and I both laugh. I'd have to put the toys away. Was too much.

My dober(wo)man loved her squeaky toys so much I would have gone mad, but fate spared me. It was one of that dog's major quirks that she hated all... protuberances. She pulled buttons off furniture, eyes out of of stuffies, and the squeaker button out of every squeaky toy.

She always had that little thingummy out of there within a couple of days (cheap toys might take only an hour or two). Then of course, once the squeaker was gone, the toy lost its appeal.

I can relate to this. My dobergirl was the same. As far as she was concerned, once the squeaker was out, she had "killed" it! Finally I found a tennis-ball bone that took about a week to destroy.
