OP alans Full Member A Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 226	I am starting lessons again in two or three weeks. I am on Piano Adventures Book 2b So that gives you a sense of my level. I haven't practised in almost a year and my question is how much should I aim to prepare in advance of my first lesson? Wanting it all I bought all of the books in my series for my level and so I have far more music then I can learn right now. If anyone is familiar with the series can you suggest which books I should focus on and how many pieces from these books?

Prepare what you can. If it's one piece, then that's what it is. If it's not even an entire piece, explain to your teacher when you started working on it. Your teacher can tell much by that too. Do you know if these are the books your teacher is going to use with you?
