Hi folks; new here, though I've been visiting for a while.
Considering buying a U1E whose seller is asking $1500; I am told it is 18yrs. old and in excellent condition. From what research I've done, this would seem to be a fairly good deal, assuming everything is as the seller describes. I'm going to look at it this weekend, and if I like it, I'll go back with a tech. In the meantime, I just wanted to see if anyone would care to share any insight. I'm also not quite sure of the differrence b/w the U1 and U1E...
Thanks in advance

alanp,
If your technician gives it the thumbs up I would say that is a heck of a deal. Good Luck!

Either grey or not, if you tech approves, it is a steal.
