cool piece! I love the rhythm, very fluid, but I wanted the harmony to go someplace as unexpected as the rhythm was. Still you got me to listen twice and that's rare! One more comment, something I heard in composition class was never repeat yourself exactly, change something when a theme comes back. But, it's a cool piece and I enjoyed it a lot (twice!).

Steve, I agree that this is somewhat repetitive. That's my major bref with this one. Glad you still wanted to give it a second listen though. I hadn't really thought too much about the harmonic progression, though you are right that there aren't many surprises in this piece when it comes to harmonic development, except perhaps where the piece goes to a b maj7 chord rather than a b dom. However I could solve both problems, repetition and harmony, possibly by restating similar material using a different chord progression or key signature. I will give it some thought. Thanks again for your feedback.
