...once upon a time

and like it.
playing it,
improvising
composing

piano offers such infinite beauty and wilderness

sometimes walking down my road as a very young kid
i'd hear ecstatic music .... just for a brief moment.... out of nowhere

i like playing and creating music with piano,

how about you?

Dara,

It's a great day to be alive, musically and otherwise. I couldn't play for almost two years due to injury. Now I play even if for a limited time with a gratitude that was missing before and I understand that it's enough just to get lost in the sound of a major scale.

Hi KurtZ,

Yes, it is a great day to be alive !
And it so happens to be a gorgeous sunny warm day here on the Pacific NW Coast entering the first day of September.

We're so often reminded about pianos being facts and figures here on this forum.
I've also experienced illness that hindered activity, including piano playing.

It's a wonderful joy to play piano.

All of the above, plus:

As a kid, with the Baldwin/Hamilton upright,
I liked to take the front face board off the piano off and set it aside.
Then take of the bottom face board off the piano off and set it aside.
Then, jam, loudly, the opening chords of Deep Purple/Smoke on the Water.

Infinite, but not quite beauty and wilderness.

Best wishes-
