Here is a little piece I wrote last night and this morning. It is based on an idea JoelW and I thought up (and he is also writing one) - to write an etude on the blocked chord motif from the beginning of Chopin's E major scherzo. Without further ado, here it is:

Very nice. One question - would this really qualify as an etude? (I'm a little fuzzy on the rules.)

I have postponed my etude as I have been interrupted with a [imo better] idea.
