#2143925 - 09/04/13 09:02 AM Difference between Hailun H-5P and HU-5P

Hello,
From the Hailun US and Asia websites, it seems like the HU-5P sold in the US is the exact same model as the H-5P sold in Asia.

But then, while the US website gives several details on specifications such as the brand of hammers and strings and the type of wood used, the Asia website doesn't provide any such detail.

This leads me to wonder whether Hailun is misleading customers in Asia to buy the H-5P when it may not be fitted with the apparently 'premium' parts fitted in the HU-5P for the US market.

Anyone have any more information on this?
Thank you.

HU5P is the same as H5P. in america this model is label as HU and in asia this model is label is H. and not be confused another hailun series; HU125/HL125 with H-series (or HU-series).

Thank you. Just to be clear, the specifications such as Germany's Wurzen hammers, German Roslau strings, Agraffes given in this HU-5P document in the US website: http://www.hailun-pianos.com/administrator/components/com_pianos/uploads/13/pdf/hu5p.pdf

is the exact same as those for the H-5P sold in Asia?

I was prompted to ask the question because Larry Fine's Piano Buyer says:
(Note: Model designations on the cast-iron plates of some Hailun pianos may differ from those in Hailun marketing materials and in this publication because the models may have different names in the Chinese and U.S. markets. In each such case, the scale designs are the same, but, according to Hailun, the U.S. models contain the higher-quality parts and materials advertised in U.S. marketing materials and on the Hailun America web page.)
http://www.pianobuyer.com/spring13/174.html

Doesn't that mean ONLY the U.S. models contain the "higher-quality parts and materials", while the Asian models are stuck with presumably lower-quality parts?
