This unusual video is from Dave Frank's YT master class- Using the 15 Jazz Piano Elements, Plus a Few More:) Dave improvises 4 improv flows over the changes of ATTYA using many of the 23 elements from his two master classes, while the elements are labeled on the screen as they appear. Phun)

He's more like the self promoting-spamming guy, although I'm not taking a jab at his performance or technique, more so his etiquette and self righteousness.

If you have something to promote what else do you do with it?

There is much good and FREE advice here to less able pianists like myself. All good quality and you can act on it or reject it.

I really can't see a problem. If there was some sort of unethical element I am sure PW would ban him.

He's just a good jazz pianist spreading his gospel.

Nothing stops you spreading yours, unless like me, you simply don't have the talent and ability.

In which case, watch Dave Frank!

I for one always enjoy Dave's links to his videos. It is really nice that some of our more talented PW members create such high quality learning material for the rest of us.

Dave, keep them coming! I will keep watching.

I also get the most out of Dave's Youtube videos (and have been tuning into his music since the '90s).

Keep it up Dave and thanks.

Yes, the cap and the accent. It's very appropriate for the image. (Note to self: Do not wear a cap or have a New York accent when attempting to teach jazz)

I think he's a fine player, and although I haven't seen his instructional videos, I would be suprised if he doesn't do a decent job of that too.

I really like and appreciate Dave's videos. The humor and mastery of the art he shares make the video lessons a delight. Keep 'em coming, Dave.
