Hi Everyone,

I found this performance of Satie's Vexations online. Maybe somewhere along the way the pianist develops some impatience and increases tempo, to do the whole in less than ten hours?

I suppose this shows how much of a recluse I became in recent years. At least we have Earl Wild's recordings and videos.

Speaking of long pieces, there is a performance of an organ work by John Cage going on right now in Germany. It began in 2001 and is supposedly going to last 640 YEARS. grin
