Hi all grin

Could you help me compare the Yamaha DGX-630 vs Kawai CN34?
In this case only the touch and the sound.
I owned Yamaha DGX-630 and want to upgrade to a Kawai DP. I think if i upgrade to a new one it will be Kawai CN34. But i still never touch the Kawai because in my city there are no Kawai dealer, and to go to nearest Kawai dealer i need a flight frown

Thanks smile

You must get to play these somehow. I`ve compared them all (not exhaustingly mind) and I`ve yet to find a worthy replacement for my DGX630. It has character in it`s sound and is simplicity itself to record . . .
The keyboard on the Kawais is undoubtedly good. You may like the sound. . . there is a recent posting on this forum which examines the difference between sounds of various makes playing the same tunes . . .have a look at it!

I exchanged DGX640 for CL36. Specially action in Kawai is much better. I even prefer my CL36 to CLP 440 which is more than twice the price. But action is very personal and I would NEVER buy DP without trying it (or similar model with same action).

Yes, I would argue that the CN34 is superior to the DXX-630.

SAO, may I ask where you are based?

Please check the Kawai Japan's worldwide distributiong website for information regarding Kawai availability in your country:

Kind regards,
