Hi!
Got a relative that loves my piano and wanted to start playing. We saw this local piano listed for $350.
What do you think?

I think they would be hard-pressed to get $350 for it if the soundboard were intact. It is an undistinguished piano which looks to be at least 70 years old, and they just are not selling these days.

Still, you could go see it and try it out. If you like it, you should have a tech inspect it, and give you an opinion.

Got ya. Well I will got play it and if it sounds good I will let him know that is best to get a tech to check it and for sure offer less money. Maybe $250 or something.
Thanks!

You would be actually doing the current owners a really big favor just to take it off their hands. They may not find another buyer in this life time. I threw away about a dozen of these thingees last year alone and have another half dozen lined up waiting the dumpster.
