Welcome to Piano World Nitro.

I have no experience with the MP15. Based on the specs below, you might have many other options (better) if you plan to spend around for $2,500US.

Have you shopped around or is this your first choice? More info, better we can help you.

I've played the Kurzweil MP15 quite a bit. It's hard to give you accurate feedback based on your post - could use a little more info about your background and what features you're most interested in.

From my experience, the MP15 has an acceptable performance action, but the strength lies in the quality of the sounds. This piano uses Kurzweil's professional-grade "PC3" sound chip - with 128 of these sounds included. (the PC3 sound chip is used in the company's pro-keyboards).

That said, the speaker system is designed for home use, not for large performance settings.

One possibly cool feature is the MP3 input on the front of the piano (connect your ipod or iPad directly).

Hope this is helpful - feel free to add more info about what you're looking for and I'm sure members of the forum will be able to provide better input.

Kind regards,

Think you need to tell us more what you are asking feedback about. Seems Gary gave you some good info.

If it is for "training for a real acoustic piano" then I would always steer people away from Kurzweil. The piano sound is very outdated and most importantly the (Fatar) key action is poor compared to products from Yamaha, Roland, Kawai and even Casio.

Simply as a piano there are much better choices.
