Anybody know where I can get 1 or 2 of these? From a pre-reunification August Forster. It's the threads on the little metal bolt and sleeve (shown removed from the top flange) that are screwed up.

You try using a tap and die to clean up the threads? Or are they too far gone?

-Hope this helped

I used to be able to get those inserts from APSCO, so Schaff may have them. Worst comes to worst, get an upright damper block (the round ones are fine) and break off the wood. If the new insert is too small, shim the hole with some paper, or ream it out if it is too large. No need to replace the entire lever!

agreed, this was installed in Petrof keyboards, some Ibach (cheapened )

create a floating sensation, as the rest for the keys is located under the capstans.

key leveling ? one need thin papers for sure.

hopefully not in use today but upgrading those actions mean a new keyboard.

Eric, I have some machine screws from damper top flanges. They may fit. If pressed, I might be able to supply the threaded inserts as well. What is the OD and length of the insert?
