First off, sorry for any typos as I'm on my phone. It's really bad for auto correct.

I currently have a Roland fantom s I bought 10 years ago, but haven't looked at what's
Available since. Before that i had a korg x3 and roland jd800.

I don't need a workstation as such, but in the past found them the best for my needs. These have changed slightly so I'm looking for a new board.

For home use, I need synth stuff with real time control (the fantom is limited bit ok I guess, but its why I ran twin boards before that). I'd also like to generate rhythmic evolutions. I have fond memories of korg wavestations in that respect, though that may be too dim a memory to be accurate.

I also play live, where its all piano and organs, possibly a little brass. This is where the fantom falls down for me. No real time drawbar adjustment and poor pianos in a live mix. I don't want weighted keys, I've never played real piano having all my early keys on traditional twin manual organs. I also don't need more than 61 keys, though more could be usefull.

Don't need the sequencers or recording stuff, but not adverse to it if it comes on a board that suits me.

So far I'm thinking korg kronos or nord stage 2. Thoughts on those 2? Any others to look at? Fleetingly looked at the Jupiter 80 but as far as I can tell the piano/organs will be lacking as will real time control.

Kurzweil PC3K6 (or its predecessor PC361) could fit the bill as well.

As for Kronos vs. NS2, the Kronos is much more capable overall, but the Nord offers greater simplicity/immediacy of operation. Which piano and organ sounds you like better, or which action, would be subjective.
