Hello all!

I am new to piano, but from flute and cello, university grade.

What great pieces would recommand to listen to know more about piano? Please don't tell me Moonlight Sonata or Fur Elise! laugh I don't want pieces I could play a day, but those who I will learn the beauty of the instrument. smile

I have found this, do you agree?

Almost every great composer has a few "should-listen" pieces.

So maybe people can give suggestions if you mention a few of your favourite composers.

What style do you like? Baroque? Counterpoint? Romantic? Jazz? Minimalistic? Slow? Fast?

I would suggest Rameau "la poule"

or Couperin "Les moissoneurs", "l'adolescence", "les baricades misterieuses'.

Check the harpsichord versions for sure. But I play them on piano
