So I purchased a Casio Celviano AP-450 from Costco.ca because sometimes I drive my wife crazy practicing on my acoustic piano, plus the piano was on sale for $999.99. I got to tell you, I am very impressed by this digital piano. It is very close to a grand piano. it has hammer response, damper and string resonance and piano lid simulator. I didn't do any shopping on other digital pianos but I guess non of them would be of this quality in this price range.
If you are shopping for digital piano and happen to be in Canada check out castco.ca.

I was trying one out a few days ago along with an ES7 and a few more. Didn`t have much time but it sounded and felt like a worthy contender; more of an acoustic "sound curve" than others. SHE liked it too . . . Have fun!

I've had my AP450 for almost 6 months now and I'm kinda happy with it.

A little glitch, though: the top part where the music stand sits has now sunken (bent downward) a little and touches the sliding lid, making a slight scraping sound when opening and closing the lid.

Yesterday the middle F# key has begun making a slight noise on release.

Don't know if I can claim any warranty for these issues. May be Mike can chime in.
