I will be buying one of these pianos. I am upgrading from a Yamaha p105 with furniture stand and pedal board. I read AZPianoNews.com and Tim Praskins says the action on the Kawai es100 is better than the Casio px150. Since the kdp90 and px850 share these respective actions, I would think the kdp90 is the better instrument. Can I get some help with this? Also, is Tim Praskins legit?

Current: Casio px160. After 3 years of study and 1 year break, I am back playing the piano and working on my sight reading by playing through a hymn book without looking at my hands or the keyboard.

I think you have your models mixed in your post, a typo. Although on paper you could argue the newer PX150 action is better than that of the Kawai, you probably need to decide for yourself.

I think the post is stated correctly? Is the Kawai a better instrument? Praskins says the Kawai action is better. Is he correct?

I talked to Tim Praskins over the phone and he liked the Kawai es100 action better than the action on the Casio px150. Just wanting a second opinion. Thank you!
