Hello! I just recently purchased a new upright piano by W Cooper. I've been searching all day on the internet for this brand and I can't seem to find it. I also have the serial number, and the salesman told me it was created under a brand called Beijing pianos. I went on their website and couldn't seem to find the piano I purchased if you could help me it would be awesome thanks in advance.

alacy329 - I wouldn't worry about this at all! Beijing Piano makes thousands of pianos every year. The W. Cooper name is more than likely a "stencil name", kind of like J.C Penny's clothing line brands with girl's names, where the underwear might be made in a plant Haines's owns. If you liked the sound of the piano that you've purchased, that's the important part! Check out the Piano Buyer Guide to the side of this page and see what you can find out about the Beijing Piano Co. They might not specifically mention your brand, but that company would have records regarding its production and serial number. Many uprights and grand pianos are now made in China. Best of luck with your new piano! thumb grin
