Hi

I came across a used Fandrich and Son's piano yesterday. It's at one of the piano stores in Calgary Alberta on consignment. The dealer doesn't know all the details of the piano because it's part of an estate sale. The previous owner was apparently a piano technician who lived in Medicine Hat Alberta and has passed away. The piano is a 6'2" grand and the only number I could find on the piano was DG37221. I'm curious to find out when this piano was sold and another history like if it is an S or E model. Does anyone know if I call or email fandrich would they be able to supply me with details on this piano

Thanks

Hi Murray - Welcome to Piano World!

From what you have described, the piano model number would be the 188-S.

I would think that the store would be able to give you the info you seek. Here's a link to their contact info:

Hi - just wondering if you found out any more information on this piano? Have you found other Fandrich pianos in Calgary? Imam just starting to look for a grand piano and this was a recommended brand. Thanks!

I wish you luck but you are reviving a thread from a year ago. The OP has posted only once, so don't hold your breath.

Welcome to PianoWorld. These pianos pianos are indeed highly recommended but quite hard to find one. Especially in Canada.

Thanks. I'll just go play it in the next week or two and see what it's like. The dealer handles mainly Hoffman, Fazioli and Seiler. Mostly out of price range (and believed future ability...!
