Hey, I have that book laugh .

You can't really assign a grade to lead-sheets and non-classical music like you can to through-arranged [classical] music. You could assign a grade to how difficult it would be to solo over based on the complexity of the harmony (chord changes), but that's an entirely different matter.

The thing is, there's no "right" way to play the music - it could be played with the melody line in your right hand and the basic triads or seventh chords in the left and the grade might be pretty low-level or you could play an arrangement like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVKD5OGvxc8 and it would obviously be more difficult. I don't suppose you have a teacher or musician friend you could ask for help?

Thank you for you answer! smile
I do have a teacher, and he gave me this so I could improvise over the chords.
I thought it looked a little simple when he gave it to me, so that is why I wondered what "grade" it was.
But last friday he said that I should reharmonize it, so I guess that kakes it a little harder to solo over! :P
