...my tuning that is, not the playing (mediocre) on my RX3.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/6sv27gvei0gemru/Recording%208.mp3

Not sure if the recording quality is good enough to assess it, but I've certainly found that getting a small dehumidifier recently seems to have helped tuning stability. (Relative humidity now reasonably stable at around 55% vs. 50-65% before).

Hope the link works - can't work out otherwise how to post a file.

Hey Chris,
That piano sounds really nice! The download link worked just fine. Good job (both tuning AND playing!) smile

P.S. While the piano is freshly tuned, you may want to head over to the "Should there be a Standard?" thread and post some chromatic ascending Major 3rds and 6ths in the temperament area. There are believers and non-believers that true ET can be achieved. Maybe your example would make some believers!

Yes, Chris, please do post some chromatic beatrates!

Chris, I thought that sounded really good! That goes for the playing, too.

While it will be edifying to all to go through the beat rates, it sounded to me like your temperament was quite musical, and what unisons I could discern sounded really clean.

IMO, if you're happy with it, that's what counts most.

One question: When you were finished, did you feel like you needed a break from listening to piano notes for a while? wink

Please if you could..; record 5 ths 4ths and 12ths

the fast beating intervals are cool and not extra fast, seem to me(did not listen them yet).

Thanks for the comments gentlemen! You've no idea how encouraging it is to hear that I'm on the right track ( leaving aside possible stability issues).
