Been a long time since I've posted here and I'm in need of your help. I have an older client that wants to create a CD for his children and needs to convert his midi to MP3's. I've done a little searching around and I remember Audacity was the software of choice (although that was a while ago). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Simplicity is the key here... he would like to do this himself.

Thanks,

Hi Les, I'm using Audacity for recording myself and so are many other people here. It does have Import MIDI and Export MP3 functions. Both can be found under "File", so it should be pretty easy. It's also straightforward to download and install.
