Don't be so pessimistic. There are a lot of slots between all nocturnes and waltzes. You could easily snag one. smile

Okay....11pm EST, that settles it. Please no more changes, it's driving people a little crazy.

No prob...it seems to be a popular recital and I just didn't want a bunch of people logging in early and complaining. (Mostly because I tend to be someone people like to complain to.) wink

When will the recordings be due? How many can we sign up for? One, one of each, some other quantity? Thank you!

Pieces should be claimed via private message. Public posts will not be counted. You may claim multiple pieces, listed in order of priority. To insure the inclusion of as many participators as possible, I will be listing only one piece per person until I feel it is appropriate to list more. Op 62 no. 2 please.

If anyone wants to swap, I also like and have played and wouldn't mind switching to:
Op 55 no 1
Op 32 no 1
Op 72 no 1
Op 34 no 1

Edit: sorry for the public post. Leaving this up just to indicate willingness to switch pieces.

Polyphonist :

First : A great thank you for all that you have done to organize and present the Chopin Mazurka recital. Listening to all the performances, I feel that I am getting to know some of the members a little better, since music is such a great communicator.

Second : For the Chopin Nocturnes and Waltzes, please sign me up for the Nocturne in F-sharp minor, Op. 48, No. 2.

Thank you.

Regards,
