- if you want to reprint an updated list AND preserve the nice red SUBMITTED then you need to "Quote" the last post then strip out the [ quote=xxx] at the beginning and the [ /quote] at the end of the post.

That's because Damon first made the list by skimming through the last pages of this thread. He doesn't know who submitted.
I think the idea is to quote the list yourself and replace your name with SUBMITTED.

If Damon doesn't know who has submitted what, why is he making a list of submissions? That doesn't make sense to me.

If we're going to have a list of submissions, shouldn't it be an "official" list done by those who have organized the ecital?

I thought it would be helpful and the activity might nudge the people who haven't sent theirs in yet. Joel already didn't seem interested in maintaining any lists so I took the initiative.

It might be less orderly but it does spread the workload and the results come faster. I believe it has been done in some ABF recitals.

I do wish the deadline wasn't changed but I guess it was a kind gesture.

Actually I don't think it has been stated in this thread that the deadline is now March 24th. In case anyone missed the other thread.

That list is still inaccurate. Not everyone publicly announces that they've submitted. If you wanted a list, you could have asked.

I wasn't trying to step on your toes, but you didn't want to update the original sign-up list so I thought I would save you the bother. I know there must be at least six missing from the last list I posted. You could update that if you were so inclined.

It might be less orderly but it does spread the workload and the results come faster. I believe it has been done in some ABF recitals.

I do wish the deadline wasn't changed but I guess it was a kind gesture.

Actually I don't think it has been stated in this thread that the deadline is now March 24th. In case anyone missed the other thread.
what other thread? I only saw we had an extra 12 hours to submit.

Let's not - myself included - get too worked up about whether or not our submissions have been duly acknowledged. Let's concentrate on being patient and thankful while Joel and Damon have time to organize and report the submissions.

Regards,

Actually, I haven't been organizing any lists. It seems everyone else has been. (way before I even knew about it)

Being that this list isn't absolutely essential, I won't be updating it. My inbox is way too hectic to worry about it, so I'll just let you guys keep updating it as you please.

By the way, 34/40 submissions so far. Almost there!

I submitted the A flat major Nocturne over nearly three weeks ago. If whoever is doing this list had looked back far enough, they would have seen a post from me to that effect.
