Hey everybody

After a long break, I've finally decided to upload another video. I'm the proud owner of a Yamaha P105 portable piano, which is a decent upgrade from another Yamaha keyboard (that didn't have full piano keys).

A short background about me: almost 3 years of piano (mostly self taught), and in the last couple of months I've been learning to read sheet music, with the help of a piano teacher

Enjoy and let me know your feedback:

Thanks, Augustina, on my Ave Maria. Really appreciate your kind comments.

Tequilla85: Beautiful rendition of River Flows in You. You have a lovely touch. Maybe it could be a tad bit faster in the middle section but otherwise, it's definitely getting there. For someone who is only learning to read music, you're doing fabulous. Plenty of notes to read in this piece! Keep the music coming!

Tequilla85 You play this very precisely which augers well for the future. Sounds lovely on your piano; the music is eminently suitable . Why not try a bit more reverb/echo?

You're doing good, Tequilla85! A lot easier learning on that P105 than that other one, isn't it? Keep it up.

Pianonewbie

Takes ya back a century or more, those songs you played. You know, to a time when people actually believed . . . .well done man! (I call everybody "man" btw)

My first attempt at recording my piano!

http://soundcloud.com/fateskeys/mic-experiment-1

Chopin Op 28 No 4. I was more concerned about doing the recording than the playing shocked Input would be appreciated, my upright isn't that great, and I'm still not sure I've got the mic setup right. (Fishtank and dog don't help either...)

Still catching up here..

LadyPayne: Hope it's a bit warmer up there now. I really enjoyed your arrangement with all the the trills and frills you threw in! smile

Augustina: The Clementi piece was so well played and fun to listen to! These are such great pieces - and challenging as well. smile

Nice playing! The violin isn`t offensive at all. Believe me, that`s a complement . . .and your piano was lovely! Plenty o` light and shade on your pieces. You`ll get better and better! Have fun!

Thanks for the kind comments, Tequilla85. You play beautifully. Your piano is great. It's portable which isn't the case with mine. You can take it everywhere!!!

Happy New Year to you.
