Anyone in the Dallas / Ft. Worth, TX area interested in an unknown 2 manual 5 rank pipe organ?

A family there has offered me one to take away. All I have to do is go get it. I really don't have room for it, nor do I work on pipe organs.

The only information I have is that it was removed from a church 40 years ago while the church was going through renovations.

The main console was destroyed and the man who picked up the organ built a new console and after a few years had it playing.

The family is having to sell the dads home and the pipe organ has to go. It is currently in the garage apart.

They would like for someone to get it that might want to get it working again.

From what I understand it was removed carefully, but the "bellows" will have to have work for it to play.

If interested contact me at royspianoservice@yahoo.com or send me a pm here and I will get you the contact information.

They hate to see it destroyed or scrapped out.

I have not seen it so I don't know anything about condition or brand, though I have been told it is not a Wurlitzer.

I am hoping to get some pictures.

Other wise, I need to know what kind of man power and equipment I will need to go pick it up.

Thanks.

I'm glad no one offered to go get this "organ".

I brought it home, but the console is trash.

Lots of different pipes, windchest, regulator and other odds and ends.

Brought it back since I was there. Maybe I'll find a home for some of the usable items.
