Balmy! - Around here we were colder than Mars. We received a post card from the Curiosity rover wearing sunglasses, lolling in a hammock, and drinking pi˝a coladas.

Pretty neat sounding 4 minutes with some well matched video work on the sine wave theme. Very relaxing to listen to and watch, for me anyways.

Hi Dianne,
I am glad you like my little display of piano keytops and sharps.

This image is taken from my website, without authorization. It would be nice if you followed copyright laws and got permission before using the image for your purposes, or at least gave credit where it is due.

I have no doubt that my friend Jerry Groot, to whom this thread is dedicated, would agree.

Thank you.

I am not a stick in the mud, to be sure. But I don't agree with people surfing the net and taking other people's intellectual and and creative property and using it for their own purposes with no discretion and/or respect for existing laws or ethics.*

Just because I "found it on the internet" does not mean it is "in the public domain" and I can use it as I please. If I want to use an image from another website, it it a matter of ethics and law for me to ask for permission before using it. Simply ask - how hard can that be?

*Taking something from another person without permission and against their expressed will (e.g. copyright notice), then using it for one's own purposes, sounds a bit like stealing, don'cha think?
