This is a band arrangement I started almost a year ago (began 5/4/2013). It's just been sitting in my folders, and I've been adding a little onto it, working a bit. I haven't made any major changes in a while, just simple alterations to the melody and support instruments. Tell me what you think!
Song 14

Doesn't really have a name, It's called Song 14 because it's the 14th piece I've started in my Finale stuff.

Here's another piece I made, I created this one in very late 2012, and sort of added a little bit onto it every once in a while. Doesn't quite have a resolved and definite theme like the first one does but it has some good parts in it, I think.

Song 2

I also have two piano songs. The first one I also wrote a long time ago, it's nothing too special. It does seem like a good piece that I can form into a violin solo or something, IMO.

Piano Song 1

This second one is one of my most recent piano songs, and its not done yet. I'm not exactly sure where to go next with it, and the ending is sort of rough right now - since I haven't worked on it obviously.
Piano Song 2

One last piece! My oldest song, based off a melody that got stuck in my head a very, very long time ago, and its stuck... It's a trio for piccolo, harp, and flute. Harp is a bit too loud in some parts for my taste but You should be able to get the melody and harmony whatever that music theory stuff is.

Thanks for taking the timet o review my work! I've been working on this stuff for a long time and haven't
really had the place or opportunity to share it.

Your first mistake was listing so many pieces in one post. You'll get far better response if you confine the possibilities. So I'll discuss your two piano songs. I liked number 1 a lot, it sounds like klezmer. I'm not Jewish but could relate to this piece and it was nicely done. It was an entertaining and enjoyable listen. I can't say the same for #2. It just sounded slow and uninteresting. This sounds like a piece where you couldn't think of stuff for it but forced the creative process. You say it's not done and I say start something new.

I listened to bits of some of the other pieces. From what I hear I believe you should find ways to hone your musical ideas for more effectiveness. They seem to wander and lack direction. I hope that's helpful criticism. I did like your Piana song #1.

Thank you for your comments. I do agree with what you are saying. A lot of my work is very capricious and for several of my pieces they aren't very developed, mainly me just throwing a bunch of notes together until something pops out that sounds harmonic. I've been starting a lot of pieces recently and not really working on each individual one much. I'm probably going to go back to Piano Song #1 and make it longer, and try to add some difference in it since as of now its a pretty repeating theme with little deviation.

I've worked on Piano Song 1 for a bit longer, And I like how it sounds but I'm not sure if it, overall, takes away or adds from the theme/development of the song. I got kind of carried away when adding the difference in music whatnot.

If you haven't heard the first yet see Piano Song 1 in my first post
