I want to give special kudos to Piano World's own Master88er. AKA Russell Kassman, owner of R Kassman Purveyor of fine pianos.
I recently purchased my Steingraeber 138,however not from Russell. He is on the opposite coast from where I live. I recently created a post asking what to use as a cleaner on my new piano. He sent me a pm offering to send me a bottle of Brillanize,a product he gives to his clients that buy a piano from him. He told me if I liked it I could order it from the company that makes it. He provided the website of the company.I just received it as he sent it UPS at absolutely no cost to me. Along with the cleaner came a special polishing mitt and a very nice key cover. My point is that he had nothing to gain from doing this. He was just doing a fellow forum member a favor.I was taken back that he would take time out of his busy day to ship this to me postage paid. One does not see these random acts of kindness very often. It was not a million dollar item that he sent, but the act of doing so was priceless to me. If anyone is in the market for a fine piano in the San Francisco area,I would highly recommend him based on his kindness alone. Kudos to you Master88er. I wanted to make sure your kindness does not go unnoticed!!

Friends:

I'm not even slightly surprised that Russell would do this. For several years now he's been unbelievably generous in giving his time and thoughts to my mundane and often tiresome queries.

He has high standards and never speaks ill of anyone else in the piano business. The fact that he can actually build, rebuild, voice and regulate a piano HIMSELF gives him depth in discussing various instruments.

Bravo Russell Kassman. It's long over-due that you receive the credit due for your kindness and generosity.

Having actually bought a piano from Mr. Kassman, I can confirm that I got the bottle of Brillianize, and have been using it regularly to keep the piano shiny! laugh
