Being of such good quality, I suspect that the 10 Demo Songs registered on the instrument are MP3. Can't believe that they are MIDI. Or am I wrong?

It would make no sense for a keyboard to have demo songs that do not play through its own sound system.

It would be 'cheating' if they were mp3 (ie recordings). Resident demos on a keyboard are processed through an internal sequencer triggering the keyboard's own sound system - and it would be transmittable via midi.

So I'd be extremely surprised if the demos on the YDP142 or any other DP were not sequenced, and thus theoretically achievable by someone playing that keyboard. The proviso here might be that some elaborate arrangements might need a computer linked to the DP to be able to do.

In any case, what would be the point of using mp3 unless they were really cheating and were using a different sound source altogether?
