Here is my recording of Chopin's first ballade. I know the sound is quite bad and that I make some mistakes when I play, but the main point of this recording is for you to be able to answer my questions in the thread "What should I do?". Also, I just recently took up the piano again after a six months break, so I am not in my best shape, so to say! I know some of you wanted me to post a recording, so… Here it is!

How do you make the link work?

We don't even know what site it's on, because you've left out the whole first part of the URL.

It's not on any site, it's a file, but it didn't work to put it in, it was too big.

Well, we can't open it because it's not a link.

For a link to work, the file must be on a website, and include the full URL, including http://www.'whatever'.

Upload it to dropbox, or an equivalent site.

... such as SoundCloud or Box.net. When uploaded there, the file will have the option of selecting a link to the file (its URL) which you can copy in order to share. You quote that link by using the second box at the top left of your message (when you put your curser on the box, it reads : "Create a link to a webpage."). Then the link - and hence, your file - will be accessible to any who click on it.

In some cases, the link (URL) you copy may be long. If you hit "Enter" after copying that link (URL), Piano World gives you a second box in which you can type a short title for the link. Whatever short title you decide upon (Ballade) will be the link that will appear in your post. Better that, sometimes, than a long URL.

Okay I am obviously retarded when it comes to computers... I honestly don't know how to do this. It dosen't work to put it up on youtube even though I created an account?!
