I echo what Jeffrey said about posting a "submissions call" thread. Sometimes people ignore the original thread when it becomes too chit-chatty and forget the due date.

Does that include me? I PMed a link, not a file, and I'm not sure if that's adequate.

I submitted a youtube link to my video.

I don't know if that's necessary. For my part I just got a take that I am satisfied with. Except for somewhat botching some of my favorite parts and rushing the rhythm in most of the trill parts I'm still happy enough with it that I could submit it.

I'll see if I can do better sometime today but if not I'm covered.

If you re-post the list with the ones remaining, it may also help prompt submissions or get an alternate recording from someone who already played it before.

That's a good idea.

I'm tempted to just submit the one I have and then be done. My son refused to clean up his crayons so I sent him to his room. Got the idea to do a quick take while he was there and it came out surprisingly good given the circumstances. smile

Nothing like getting in the right mood, Pathbreaker wink

Joel can you either reply to PMs confirming that you got submissions, or post the list to this thread showing which you have received? It would be nice for us to know whether we need to resubmit, or if the file was not the right type, etc.

As someone who PMs quite regularly, I can assure you that I am getting all of your PMs. I don't think there's some glitch where PMs don't "get through". As for recordings not working, I will be sure to let you know if it isn't working for me. I listen to them all.

Thanks for putting this together, Joel. I just sent you my submission: Waltz in A minor, Op. 34 No. 2

There's a few memory slips in there, one is an obvious brain fart but I thought it best to leave these in there as one other poster called it "rustic," I like that.

I used the score for the video like I've done for my last few recordings (thanks to Hakki's tutorial). Please forgive the occasionally imprecise page turning. One last thing to note is that I did not use the edition in the video for learning this piece so there may be some inconsistencies (which I haven't checked for at all). All comments and criticisms are welcome. If it's horrible I want to know but if this is the case please explain. smile

Reminds me of some talk show host/comic who declared :

"All of you listening to me in your cars, honk your horn!" Loud sounds of horns blaring all over the city.
"Now, all of you not listening to me in your cars, honk your horn!" Silence!

Proof : Everyone was listening to the program! smile

Cheers!

Nice work with the list. It looks like Heather submitted already.

Joel can you either reply to PMs confirming that you got submissions, or post the list to this thread showing which you have received? It would be nice for us to know whether we need to resubmit, or if the file was not the right type, etc.

Maybe each person that submits can now update this list? Or someone could.
