Can you tell me what piano, or kind of piano is that? Is it american square piano or what? I have never seen something like this before shocked

The sound of the piano is being modified by filters or plugins after (and while) it's being recorded. If you are looking piano that sounds like the one there, you will probably be disappointed.

If you look at the feet of the violinist and the cellist, you can see a bunch of pedals, which are for adding various effects to the sound.

Another interesting thing (maybe it's interesting lol, to me it is); the mic they have pointed at the piano looks like a sharply directional mic. With a mic like that, you can pick up sound from a piano after it seems to have died away to a person listening live. So the piano on the recording will seem to have a longer sustain than the piano actually has. That mic in the back of the piano could be what they are using to give the bass notes that nice muffled effect.

ah, my main concern is the type is physical piano... not the sound wise ;-)
however thans wink

I just have never befor seen anything like this type of action o_O

I think that is an Eavestaff Minipiano, played with the apartment mute on.
