That's a great start.

The main thing is: keep writing! Keep posting!

Because you're the only one who can write with authority about your perspective and your experience. How YOU see the piano and musical and related stuff.

Looking forward to more posts!

Thanks Mark... much appreciated. I only will update it when I go to concerts or something else of a musical nature. Its not quantity but quality which is the main factor.

I hear you.

Just to make sure my meaning was coming across - I'm not suggesting quantity over quality or even that quantity eventually leads to quality But as you keep writing and posting - ON YOUR SCHEDULE AND TO YOUR INTERESTS AND GOALS - all that experience will add up to continued good stuff ...

Anyway ... am looking forward to more ...

Feel free to comment on the comments box if you have anything to say about what I have written.

I gave my piano teacher the link. She is not familar with blogs. She doesn't use them, so I hope she will be able to easily navigate round mine with help. Some people simply do not have the time or interest for a lot of computer stuff.

I'd like to tell you that as soon as you start posting everyone starts reading. But smile .... not quite like that. If you write about what the speciality of YOUR experience, if you take the long view you'll get readers.

That's my experience smile ...

... I do like what you posted. Keep writing and keep posting!

I agree with jdw's advice. Discuss with your teacher how you practice. There are days when I can't properly concentrate on goals and specifics and find my practice to be aimless. On those days, it seems like drudgery. On days when I focus on specific problems and finding solutions and experimenting with different ways to achieve the sounds I want to produce, time just flies. This produces a sense of accomplishment that makes you want to do it again the next day.

Mark

It would be nice to put a comment on the blog? It does have a comment section.

Glad you like it. Not sure how often it will be updated. I guess I will only update it when there is something really interesting to say or report on.

I dont want it to be one of these blogs full of mundane things that I could be blogging about daily. I want it to have an impact.

You put up a post about the mechanics of piano actions. HF is probably the dealer in the area who can take that subject further if you want to - in terms of sheer knowledge of the research as well as practical application.. But it's your choice,
