The black keys are higher than normal and hard to push down. Does anyone know how to fix this? It's 3 years old and was working fine. Then my son starting doing something to the keys.

This irrelevant remark doesn't help the poster with their question!

The mom might think you "hate" children.

Correct on both counts! Although hate is a strong word. I just think humans are pointless until they're about 18.

what a delicious understatement

Essbrace, you sound like Mr Curry. Paddington Bear's next door neighbour. How did you manage to arrive as a fully grown being with a driving license and voting rights?

This definitely indicates you have no self-worth (Freudian slip) since you just incriminated yourself with your own words - meaning that when you were "18" you were a "pointless" human.

On the other hand I am a "fully grown being" that elects NOT TO drive and NOT TO vote - by deliberate decision.

1) Driving drunk can kill you - or, someone else will drive drunk and run their vehicle into yours killing everyone.

2) Why vote when you're electing the next goofball who does nothing except to put us further into debt.

Well that's an interesting interpretation of my comment, which anyone with even a glimmer of a sense of humour should have seen was completely light-hearted.

Well the thing is, I went through this "pointless" phase. Pooing my pants, puking up the walls and issuing piercing screams in public for no apparent reason as a toddler. Making excessive noise and mess every day until my teenage years, sponging the very lifeblood out of my poor parents. I then made myself busy being surly and utterly charmless during puberty and bunking off school and generally practising every kind of ingenious work avoidance until adulthood. Then I started to contribute to society by paying taxes...thus ending the pointless phase of my life.

All the black keys or just some of them? Try gently pushing down all the way past the resistance, but do not force it. That may reset, reseat, the key and hammer. If you are mechanically inclined open it up, but I suspect it's a call to Casio service.
